David Montz, DDS, FAGD, FICD
Dr. David C. Montz graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Biomedical Science. He attended the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, where he graduated with honors and earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). He completed a one-year residency program at UTSD.
Michael Maher, DDS
Dr. Michael Maher graduated magna cum laude from Louisiana State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He then attended the Louisiana State University Health Sciences School of Dentistry (LSUSD) in New Orleans, LA, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2011.
Nathalie Dunwody, DDS
Dr. Dunwody graduated summa cum laude and with honors from Texas Tech University in 2009 with a BS degree in biology. She then moved to Houston and earned her DDS degree from The University of Texas School of Dentistry.
Macie Long, DDS
Dr. Macie Long, a Pearland native, graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M and earned her dental degree from the University of Texas School of Dentistry. She also received certifications in laser dentistry and Invisalign.
Andréa Varesic, DDS
Dr. Andrea Varesic is our periodontist specialist. Dr. Varesic graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston—Dental Branch (UTHSC) with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1994.

Which office should I visit, and do all 3 offer the same services?
All three of our offices have the same hours and offer the same general, cosmetic, and restorative services. You can simply visit the office that’s most convenient for you: Pearland, Pearland Silverlake, or Friendswood. If you’d like a specific doctor, give us a call and we’ll book you at the right location.
Do you take my insurance?
We’re out of network with insurance companies, but we accept most major PPO plans and can file your claims for you to help you get the most from your benefits. We can also arrange an in-house payment plan and accept financing through CareCredit®, so you can spread out the cost of care.
What does the 6-year warranty cover, and what does transferable mean?
Our 6-year warranty covers repairs or replacements up to the original treatment value for work like fillings, crowns, bridges, veneers, dentures, implants, and root canals. To keep the warranty active, stay current on your regular hygiene visits. Transferable means the coverage stays with you if you move or travel.
I’m nervous about the dentist. Which sedation options do you offer?
We offer oral conscious sedation to help you feel deeply relaxed, and IV sedation for a sleep-like state with little memory of your visit. Dr. Maher is one of the few general dentists in the area trained in IV sedation, and he can work alongside a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). We also have comforting amenities like noise-canceling headphones and warm blankets to help you relax.
Can I get a same-day emergency appointment?
We keep time open for emergencies every day at all three of our locations. If you have a severe toothache, broken tooth, lost crown, or knocked-out tooth, call your nearest office and we’ll try to fit you in as soon as possible.
